Welcome to Wistful Woods Farm. I’m Erin and I’m passionate about homesteading, cooking real food, homeschooling, fiber arts, and making our house a home. Here on the the farm blog you’ll find recipes, gardening, Home DIY, and heritage skills to teach the next generation.

It has been a lifelong dream of ours to live on our own piece of land. For the first 15 years, our family lived in the suburbs, where I learned to garden, preserve the harvest, bake bread, make soap, use herbs for health, make wine, knit, and spin yarn. Last year we moved across the country to a little farm in the Ozarks where our family can grow and live our dream here on our farm.

It’s my goal to keep heritage homesteading skills alive through this blog to pass on to the next generation.
