Homemade Egg Noodle Recipe

A simple 4 ingredient recipe for delicious egg noodles. Perfect for soups, stroganoff and other pasta dishes.

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons
  • pizza cutter or knife
  • Rolling Pin

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 c milk

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Whisk together with a fork.
  • Make a well in the middle of the flour and add the eggs. Mix the eggs into the flour.
  • Add the milk and knead the dough for 5 minutes until rough and slightly sticky. Add additional flour if the dough is too sticky.
  • Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
  • On a well floured surface, roll the dough out to between 1/4 and 1/8" thick.
  • Cut into 1/2" wide strips, then into 4" lengths and cook for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Notes

These noodles need to be rolled thinly as they do bulk up quite a bit during cooking.
For easy meal prep, these noodles can be frozen to be used later.
